Memorial Day hours:
Womack Army Medical Center specialty care clinics will be closed on May 26 for Memorial Day. The primary care clinics will be open on May 23.  They will be closed on May 26 for Memorial Day.  This includes Clark Health Clinic, Joel Health and Dental Clinic, Robinson Health Clinic, Troop and Family Medical Clinic and Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic.  The Fayetteville and Hope Mills community based clinics will be open during their normal hours on May 23.  The Fayetteville and Hope Mills medical homes will be closed on May 26 for Memorial Day. 

The Emergency Department is always available for emergencies.  To reach the Emergency Department, please call 911.


Positive Discipline:
Family Advocacy Program will hold Positive Discipline workshops at the Soldier Support Center. 

The workshops will teach the difference between punishment and discipline; help adults understand the “real reasons” why children misbehave; and help adults become positive disciplinary figures in the lives of their children.

Newcomers Orientation:
Army Community Service will hold Newcomers Orientation and Bus Tour to provide information on programs and services that support and assist Fort Bragg military Families.

The orientation and bus tour will take place at Casablanca Neighborhood Center May 21 and June 18; Ste. Mere Eglise Neighborhood Center, July 16, Aug. 20, Sept. 17 and various other dates; and at the Soldier Support Center, May 7,  June 4 and various other dates.

VFW meetings:
VFW Post 6018 in Fayetteville holds its regular monthly membership meetings on the second Sunday of each month at 116 Chance Street in Fayetteville. The meetings take place at 3 p.m. For more information, contact Edward Beard at edwardbeardvfw@yahoo.com.
